These printers bring in new capabilities to high-volume inkjet printing for the imagePROGRAF line. The introduction of the high-capacity stacker* coupled with the reformulated magenta ink, Gigabit Ethernet compatibility, and Two Media Roll System,** produce the fine lines, speed, and functionality you’d expect from an imagePROGRAF large-format printer. With a 320 GB hard drive and Sub-Ink Tank system, these printers can fit virtually into any high-volume, inkjet workflow.

High Productivity
The iPF850 printers’ high-capacity stacker* manages mixsize sets, making it easier for you to get the job done faster and efficiently. The Two Media Roll System and Auto Roll Switching feature on the iPF850/iPF840 printers can have you printing without the need to change media types and roll size in the middle of a job. The printers are capable of producing an Arch D-sized print in approximately 22 seconds.***

Continuous Printing
Canon’s Sub-Ink Tank System lets you swap inks on-the-fly. Couple that with the available 700 ml Canon Ink Tanks and these printers can do the long continuous printing needed when running high production jobs.

Vivid Colors
The reformulated magenta ink helps improve the clarity and vibrancy of the fine lines, images, and text of your documents.

HIGH-CAPACITY STACKER
The iPF850 printer offers the efficiency needed by high-volume inkjet users. With the capability of stacking up to 100 Arch Esized drawings, the iPF850 printer’s high-capacity stacker manages different size media. And the prints are stacked in the front of the unit, making it easy to retrieve your documents.

DUAL ROLL
It’s about continuous workflow, whether you’re printing all day or all week. The iPF850/iPF840 printers make it easy to keep the job going with their Two Media Roll System, producing breathtaking technical drawings and images. Without the hassle of constantly changing paper when the job requires a mixed set of different media or roll size, your workflow can increase with the automatic routing feature by sending your job to the correct roll on the right media.

The iPF850/iPF840/iPF830 printers produce stunning technical drawings at a highly efficient rate. Capable of producing an Arch D-sized print in just 22 seconds, these printers fit into most high production or print-for-pay workflows. 

The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF850/840/830 MFP M40 44" large format imaging system is designed to meet the speed and precision requirements for AEC, CAD, MCAD and ECAD, with outstanding ease-of-operation to handle all-purpose, office projects. The MFP M40 provides a fast and effective system for copying, archiving and distributing maps, drawings, renderings, site and facilities management plans, design and layout proofs, posters and more.

This Multi-Function Product's advanced M40 scanner adds versatility to the product capabilities with the ability to scan documents up to 2mm thick. The scanner has the ability to scan documents up to 315" in length as a PDF or JPEG file, and up to 590" in length as a TIFF file. The SmartWorks MFP software simplifies the entire Scan-to-Print, File, and Share process for users of all experience levels. The iPF850/840/830 MFP M40 also offers Canon's Direct Print & Share software, a cloud-portal software solution that enables the viewing, sharing and printing of files from virtually anywhere in the world, a Shortcut Print button for drag and drop printing through hot folder technology, and is compatible with almost any cloud server that's WebDAV compliant. The solution is also equipped for mobile printing through use of the imagePROGRAF Print Utility app for iPad®, available as a free download on the App Stores℠.

With true 600dpi optical resolution, CIS scanning technology for incredible line definition and accuracy, and room for documents up to 41" wide (40" image width) by any length, the MFP M40 is a versatile imaging solution. And with dynamic preview and a large, simple-to-use touch-screen interface, one-click scanning/copying has never been easier and comes standard with the ability to scan to PDF, JPEG and TIFF file formats.
