					<description><![CDATA[This is just plain wrong.  You don&#039;t &quot;shake&quot; a toner cartridge like it&#039;s a bottle of salad dressing.  You simply take it out of the printer and gently rock it back and forth a few times by holding it with both hands by moving your hands briskly up and down in opposite directions.   This redistributes the toner that might be stuck in the edges of the cartridge so that it can get out onto the paper.  You can get quite a few more pages out of a single supply of toner this way, and it is perfectly safe to do so.]]></description>

I&#039;ve never had a laser printer before, in my small home office, but I remembered that the secretary at work used to shake the toner cartridge to get more mileage out of it and same money. She probably shouldn&#039;t have—but that&#039;s what I remember!
